13 Feb 2015 | World Radio Day was celebrated by Radio Television of Afghanistan in cooperation with UNESCO Kabul. The event started with a brief introduction of the history of Radio in the world in Afghanistan by Mr. Abdul Rahman Panjshiri, Director Planning and Foreign relations. Asadullah Ghzanfar, President’s advisor delivered President Dr. Ashraf Ghani’s message on this occasion. “Today Afghanistan has the most number of radio stations that airs and broadcasts in an environment of Freedom of Speech, our radio journalists can better use this opportunity to access information, knowledge sharing and bringing people together”. UNESCO DG’s message was also delivered during the event.
